Man Found Shot To Death In The Back Of Rental Moving Truck In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Police say a man has been shot to death in the back of a moving truck in the Bronx.
The New York Police department was searching for a suspect or suspects Sunday. Police say 22-year-old Jahbar Campbell was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds Saturday night.
He was found after the rented truck apparently crashed at an intersection in the Eastchester section of the Bronx.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Police arrived on the scene at around 9:30 on Saturday night, at 11:00 A.m. on Sunday the crime scene remained active, 1010 WINS reported.
Neighbors said that they heard gunshots, but were not sure if the shots were fired inside or outside of the truck.
“I knew it was gunfire because firecrackers don’t sound like that,” Michael told 1010 WINS Reported Glenn Schuck.
