Assistant Principal Accused Of Punching Teacher At Bronx School

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An assistant principal at a Bronx school was arrested Friday, after she allegedly punched one of her teachers.

Josette Joseph, 57, is assistant principal at P.S. 49 Willis Avenue in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.

She was charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment after she allegedly punched a 54-year-old female teacher in the forehead around noon Friday, officials told 1010 WINS.

Jones was given a desk appearance ticket, officials said.

The teacher was not severely injured, according to officials.
