Police: Man Groped Girls, Women In Woodside And Astoria, Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police Thursday evening were asking for help from the public in finding a man who allegedly groped four girls and women's buttocks in Astoria and Woodside, Queens.

The suspect came up to the victims and tried to speak to them, and then touched their buttocks over their clothes, police said.

The incidents all happened on Tuesday:

Around 6:40 a.m. at Northern Boulevard and 57th Street. The victim was a 23-year-old woman.

At 7:43 a.m. at a Rite Aid drugstore at 32-87 Steinway St. The victim was a 25-year-old woman.

At 8 a.m. at 38-01 35th Ave. The victim was a 16-year-old girl.

At 8:26 a.m. at 37-15 31st Ave. The victim was a 14-year-old girl.

The suspect was a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 30, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 220 to 250 pounds.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.
