Police: Man Sexually Abused Woman, Threw Her To Ground In Forest Hills

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police late Thursday were asking the public to help them find a suspect who allegedly attacked a woman and sexually abused her in Forest Hills, Queens.

The suspect followed the 47-year-old woman into her apartment building near Queens Boulevard and 76th Road around 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, police said. He went on to grab the woman from behind and sexually abuse her, police said.

The suspect threw the woman to the ground and ran off, police said. The victim was treated at Elmhurst Hospital Center for minor injuries to her right arm and knee, police said.

Police have released a surveillance photo and a sketch of the suspect.
