Cops Launch Initiative To Crack Down On Underage Drinking At The Shore

BELMAR, NJ(CBSNewYork) -- Police along the Jersey shore will be cracking down on underage drinking this summer.

The initiative will involve 35 different police departments.

Officers will be on the lookout for customers using fake IDs and for adults who buy alcohol for minors. Last summer, the program led to 211 arrests.
