Police: Suspects Punch Delivery Man, Steal Pizza In West Hempstead

WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Long Island are looking for three people who they said punched a Domino's delivery man in the face and then stole his pizza.

It happened around 11:20 p.m. Thursday in West Hempstead.

Nassau County police said the delivery man arrived at a home to deliver a pizza on Woodfield Road when he was approached by two men and woman.

One of the men took the pizza as the second man punched the victim in the face, police said. The first man then shoved the victim to the ground, police said.

All three then took off on foot with the pizza on Pinebrook Avenue, police said.

Authorities are now looking for the suspects.

Police describe the first suspect as a black man about 5 feet 9 inches tall between the ages of 18 and 20 wearing black shirt, black shorts and carrying a black knapsack.

The second suspect is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall in his early 20s, police said.

Police described the third suspect as a black woman, 5 feet 2 inches tall between the ages of 18 and 20  wearing a white shirt, and black shorts.
