Two Injured When SUV Slams Into Bayside Home

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Two people were injured when a car crashed into a Queens home on Monday.

An sport-utility vehicle smashed through a window on 221st Street and 39th Avenue in Bayside.

A 36-year-old woman and her 9-year-old daughter were hit by debris, officials told CBS 2. The driver, believed to be a man in his 70s, was backing out of his driveway and somehow lost control of the vehicle, officials said.

The driver was not seriously injured.
