Website Maps Free Toilets For Those Looking To Answer Nature's Call

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The man behind WeeWeeFree.com is trying to sign up businesses willing to make their bathrooms available for free in order to lure in potential customers during off-peak hours, 1010 WINS' Roger Stern reported.

If businesses agree, those toilets would then be listed on the website along with walking directions for those looking to answer nature's call.

A number of New Yorkers and tourists say WeeWeeFree is an amazing idea.

"Because I'm not going to go urinate on the side of the road," one woman told Stern.

"Guests need to know where it's easy to have a release," another man told Stern.

According to the WeeWeeFree website, Co-Founder Stefan George was inspired after reading a news story about a 2-year-old in Philadelphia fined $50 for urinating in public.

"The recent graduate was furious, which led to his light bulb moment: after hours of Googling and Binging around, public restrooms locators are everywhere, all are useful, but that is not enough," the website reads.

While WeeWeeFree isn't the first to offer toilet guidance, the website claims it is the only service that tells you what toilets are open in your area in real-time.
