Police: LI Woman Attempts To Sell $60K Of Stolen Legos Online

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police say a Long Island woman stole 800 Lego sets worth almost $60,000 and tried to sell them on eBay.

Gloria Haas was arraigned Friday on charges of grand larceny.

Nassau County detectives say the 53-year-old Island Park woman lifted the toy sets from a storage facility in that Nassau County village.

They say she took the Legos to another storage facility in Rockville Centre.

Authorities say Haas was trying to sell the sets on eBay.

Information on an attorney for Haas was not immediately available. A phone number listed for her address was not in service.
