Oh Yes! Mike Francesa To Do Ice Bucket Challenge On Friday

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Mike Francesa was challenged, and he has proudly accepted.

The legendary WFAN afternoon host will do the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS research on Friday, when the show is broadcast from Bar A in Lake Como, N.J.

Mike Accepts The Challenge

WFAN morning host Craig Carton and midday host Joe Benigno did the Ice Bucket Challenge, and both nominated none other than Francesa to dump a bucket of ice over his head for the cause.

Generally, those who take the challenge nominate three people, but Carton nominated "one person and one person only."

Joe B. not only nominated the afternoon-drive host, but also nominated CBS Sports Radio director of programming Eric Spitz and Jets superfan "Fireman Ed," who had some nasty things to say about Benigno and Peter Schwartz on Saturday.

Evan Roberts accepted the challenge last week.

Mark your calendars, folks. Friday will be a special day.
