Jitney Passenger Bus Slams Into Parked Cars, Building In Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- It was a scary ride for some bus passengers in Jersey City Friday.

Five passengers were injured after their minibus spun out of control at around 7 a.m. and crashed into four parked cars and a building, CBS 2 reported.

The bus came to a stop after it hit a mini market and a Comcast service center at 2121 Kennedy Boulevard.

The bus driver said he was experiencing mechanical issues before hitting the cars and slamming into the building.

The injured passengers are expected to be OK, CBS 2 reported.
