SHORT HILLS, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — A piece of construction equipment fell off a truck Tuesday afternoon in Short Hills, New Jersey, causing injuries and a major traffic backup on busy Route 24.
As Joe Biermann reported from Chopper 2, the piece of construction equipment fell onto a car. Information about their conditions was not immediately available.

The left lane on the westbound side was also obstructed by emergency equipment, Biermann reported.
