Antrel Rolle Not At All Happy That Giants Cut CB Charles James

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- On Tuesday, the Giants released cornerback Charles James.

Safety Antrel Rolle was not at all happy about his organization's decision to cut ties with the 24-year-old, and he wasn't afraid to speak his mind about the matter.

"This picture explains it all," Rolle wrote. "My Lil Bra/ Protege/ Energy Booster... You never see this guy have bad EVER. You never hear him complain. All you see is HARD WORK, SMILES, DEDICATION,and MAKING COUNTLESS PLAYS. In this league you witness many things.

"Something you agree with and some you don't but no matter what you have to keep fighting and keep driving to be the player you can be and the best teammate you can be. BUT THIS ONE HURTS! Charles James has the heart of a lion and is exactly what any organization should have on their team. 8 interceptions in OTA and Training Camp I think speaks for itself.

"The best training camp amongst cornerbacks in my eyes but today he was released. Not to worry Lil Bra I promise you this is not the end of Charles James II. You are one hell of a player and that much more better of a teammate. I love you bra. Just keep your drive attitude and more than anything your personality. DONT NEVER LET ANYONE CHANGE WHO YOU ARE.

"God made you that way for a reason and your energy and personality has helped me way more than words can ever express. Blessing homie! I will see you on the opposite side of the ball. #grindmode #teammate #lilbra #energy #baller #mydog"

The Charleston Southern product appeared in 12 games for Big Blue in 2013, recording four combined tackles.

After being cut he took to Instagram, thanking the Giants for providing him with a chance but also vowing to return better than ever.

"Wanna thank the New York Giants for giving me the opportunity to start my career in the National Football League," James wrote. "Things happen in life for a reason I can leave this place with a smile because I know I gave it everything I had everyday. Shocked? Hell yes! But I guess that's how the business goes.

"Gonna miss my guys DRC, Vic Cruz, Prince and a lot more we had some good times but the one person I'll miss the most is my big brother Antrel you showed me a lot taught me a lot and I looked up to you thanks for everything. I'd be lying if I say this didn't motivate me haha looks like the Charles James underdog story continues! GOD is good man! #ManOfFaith #TheJourney"
