NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The legendary Neil Diamond is planning a secret concert in Brooklyn.

Diamond will perform for the first time in the borough on Sept. 29.

The location will be announced on Diamond’s Twitter and Facebook pages that morning. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Diamond, 73, was born in Brooklyn to Jewish immigrants from Poland, and grew up in the borough except for a brief relocation to Cheyenne, Wyoming.

He attended Erasmus Hall High School in Flatbush and Abraham Lincoln High School in Coney Island.
