Police: Burglar Stole Computers, iPhone From Kickstarter HQ In Greenpoint
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Friday were searching for a burglar who stole computers and other electronics from the Kickstarter Company in Brooklyn.
Around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, the suspect got into the Kickstarter headquarters at 58 Kent St. in Greepoint, Brooklyn, by grabbing the door and not letting it close after a food delivery, police said.
The suspect waited for employees to leave the front door area and went inside, police said. He took two Macbook Pros, one Macbook Air, and one iPhone 5S, police said.
The suspect then ran off.
Police have released surveillance photos and video of the suspect.
