NYPD Asks For Public's Help In Identifying Elderly Woman Found In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman found in the Bronx Friday night.

The elderly Hispanic woman in her 70s is described as approximately 5-foot-1 and 160 pounds.

The woman was found standing in front of 11 E. 199th Street, police said.

She identified herself as "Maria," but police say she was unable to give any more information.

She is currently being held at Motefiore Hospital.
