Police Search For Man Who Robbed Livery Cab Driver On Upper West Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a livery cab driver on the Upper West Side on Friday, August 22 around 12:40 p.m.

Police say the suspect, a male in his 20s, took $170 from the passenger seat area while the driver attempted to stop him.

The suspect then took off from W. 106th Street toward Amsterdam Avenue.

Police have described the suspect as a black male, 5-foot-10, 155 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray polo with yellow collar, blue jeans, white belt and black shoes.
