1 Injured In Hell's Kitchen Apartment Building Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One person suffered a minor injury late Monday when a fire broke out in an apartment building in Hell's Kitchen.

The fire was reported around 11:15 p.m. in the building at 530 W. 56th St., between Tenth and Eleventh avenues, the FDNY said.

The blaze was on the 13th floor of a 15-story building, officials said.

The building is across the street from the rear garage entrances of the CBS Broadcast Center.

Twenty units and 80 firefighters responded to the blaze, and one person suffered minor injuries, officials said.

The fire was under control by shortly after midnight Tuesday.
