Video: Bills Fan Knocked Out In Fight At MetLife Stadium

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It got ugly in the stands on Sunday, too.

In a video published by TMZ Sports, a Buffalo Bills fan takes a vicious right hook from a man in a New York Jets jersey at MetLife Stadium and collapses into the seats in front of him, apparently knocked out as others rush in to help.

It wasn't clear from the clip what set off the fight. But the Bills fan "had been shooting his mouth off" during New York's loss "and the Jets fans took exception," one person told TMZ.

The Jets fan was later arrested and faces assault charges, New Jersey State Police told the website.

Last week, The Associated Press ran a profile on MetLife Stadium's "beyond state-of-the-art surveillance system" that has cameras on every nook, cranny and seat.

"We can validate people's accounts of any dispute, see what actually happened," MetLife Stadium director of security Daniel DeLorenzi told the AP. "We can simply call our command center, see on video exactly who was involved and what occurred.

"The video also has evidentiary value; it's been used to see if anyone should be arrested and who."

Apparently it passed its latest test.

"Anyone would be a fool to commit a crime inside MetLife Stadium," a police source told TMZ.
