NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — A woman was shot and killed and two other people were injured outside a club in Queens overnight, police said.

It happened around 4 a.m. Friday outside Club Hive on Queens Boulevard and Barnwell Avenue in East Elmhurst.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a dispute inside the club. Someone fired shots from the corner as a large group of patrons spilled out into the street.

A 20-year-old woman was struck in the neck and leg and pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.

A 21-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks and leg and a 31-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the head. Both were listed in stable condition at Elmhurst.

Police sources said the club is fairly new and it was hosting an after party following an event Thursday night at the Barclays Center, CBS2’s Andrea Grymes reported.

Police said officers responded to the club after being called about a disturbance there. So far, no arrests have been made.
