HACKENSACK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Bergen County Executive-elect Jim Tedesco says one of his first orders of business will be merging the county Police Department and Sheriff’s Office.
Tedesco, a county freeholder and former mayor of Paramus, told WCBS 880’s Levon Putney he hopes to sign a memorandum of agreement realigning the two police forces within his first 100 days in office.
