NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Black Friday is an especially exciting day for music lovers and collectors.

On this particular Friday, they can sell limited amounts of vinyl and cassette music– but only on this day.

“Ninety percent of LPs, but there’s even a few cassettes,” Stu Goldbreg of Mr. Chepo’s Records on Long Island said.

“There’s 45s, there’s 10 inches, and there could be a special pressing of a Hendrix piece that has never been out on record ever,” he said.

Goldberg told WCBS 880’s Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs it’s the older stuff that’s hot these days.
