Police: Man In Critical Condition Following East Harlem Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was seriously hurt in a fire in East Harlem early Sunday morning, authorities said.

The blaze broke out around 3:30 a.m. on the top floor of a six-story building on East 105th Street, CBS2 reported.

An elderly man was taken to Metropolitan Hospital Center in critical condition, police said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
