Fire Leaves 1 Person Dead In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One person was killed Thursday when a fire broke out in northeast Queens.

The fire broke out shortly before 4 p.m. at 150-24 25th Dr. in Queens, officials told WCBS 880.

The fire was under control by 4:16 p.m.

One person was found dead in the fire, officials said.

The victim's age and gender, and other information, was not immediately available.
