WYANDANCH, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Suffolk County Police are investigation after a Wyandanch man was shot in the head as he stood in his front yard early Sunday morning.

Police say 18-year-old Eric Meade was standing outside with a group of people when he was shot around 1:20 a.m.

Meade was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center by relatives, where he was pronounced dead.
