NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are on the hunt for three suspects they said have something to do with the shooting death of a man in Richmond Hill, Queens.

As 1010 WINS' Darius Radzius reported, a peaceful Christmas Day on 126th Street was interrupted by gunfire.

Muhammad's wife saw the aftermath.

"They saw one kid was on the floor," he said.

The victim, according to police, is 20-year-old James Bryant, of Jamaica, Queens. He was shot one time in the neck at around 2:30 p.m., Radzius reported.

Shynia, 15, said there was a girl upset by Bryant's death at Jamaica Avenue.

"She was just screaming 'Why did this have to happen,' why they shot her boyfriend. You know, how he was really innocent and you can't just come up and shoot somebody," she said.

Police are now searching for three suspects while investigators try to figure out exactly what happened leading up to the shooting.
