Today started off white and wet, and it looks to be ending that way too. Overall, less than an inch of rain fell across the area.
We had some ice accretion earlier today, which prompted the NWS to to issue a Winter Weather Advisory for much of the area north of Route 287.
We had a lull this evening, and now the last gasp of snow is making it’s way across the area. No accumulation is expected.
Bigger story — cold air rushing back into the area. Tomorrow morning will mark the return to real winter temps. Actually below normal for all. The cold air will be ushered in via winds from cold old Canada.
Won’t last too long though. Every day this week until Sunday, will be a little warmer than the previous day. And dry too.
