1/19 CBS2 Monday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening everyone!
After a good soaking of rain yesterday, we balance with a dry one. Temps are not that cold either; actually seasonable.
We should top off in the lower 40s today, with a few flurries making their way down to the surface with no accumulation expected.
Tonight, lows are forecast to be in the upper 20s.
We drop a few degrees Tuesday under cold high pressure which will set up for some snow Wednesday afternoon. Another Alberta Clipper swings through this time just south of us.
But because it's swinging a bit lower, I think we could get a little more snow than last time. Generally 1 to 3 inches could be seen. The 3 inches totals will be in higher, colder spots.
The clipper should pull out of the area around midnight. On the backside, temps cool down yet again to just below normal.
Check back in soon for an update on Wednesday and an early look at your weekend!
