Alleged Ex-Mistress Of Yankees GM Files Lawsuit, Claims He Hacked Into Her Email

Louise Meanwell claims she had a 10-month-long affair with the then-married Cashman and has filed a lawsuit against him, charging him with hacking into her emails and attempting to conspire with her mother to silence her by getting her locked up in a psychiatric hospital, WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reported.

Court papers say Cashman's desire to have Meanwell committed was an effort to cover up his marital infidelities which Meanwell did succeed in exposing to public view in the end, Cornell reported.

Meanwell, who also goes by Louise Neathway, was arrested three years ago on charges of stalking and extorting thousands from Cashman.

She was indicted in March 2012, but  denied allegations of threatening to trash Cashman's reputation to get him to pay her.
