Police Seek 2 Men Who Robbed $6,000 From Woman In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are on the hunt for two men following a robbery in the Claremont section of the Bronx.

Authorities said on Dec. 14, two men entered an apartment building near the intersection of East 170th Street and Sheridan Avenue at around 4:50 a.m.

The men then approached two women -- ages 31 and 28 -- in the lobby and threw them to the ground, police said.

Suspect No. 1 told the women he had a gun and removed $6,000 and a cell phone from the 31-year-old victim, according to officials.

Neither victim was injured during the robbery, police said.

Police released a photo of suspect No. 1, and described him as Hispanic, about 20 years old, approximately 5'6" and weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray jogging suit with black leather patches and a zipper located on the left leg.

Suspect No. 2 was described as a Hispanic male, also about 20 years old, approximately 5 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jogging suit.
