Driver Dead After Crashing Car Into A Train Pillar In Far Rockaway
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) - Police say a 28-year-old man is dead after he crashed his car into a support pillar for an elevated subway train in Queens.
The accident happened at at Rockaway Freeway and Beach 25 Street around 8 p.m. Saturday in Far Rockaway.
Police say the man crashed into a pillar for the A train while traveling west on Rockaway Freeway. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His name was not immediately released.
