Police: Man Found Dead Inside Astoria Park
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are investigating after a man was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head inside Astoria Park Saturday afternoon.
Police say when they arrived at the park, located at 24-02 19th Street in Astoria, they found the 42-year-old man lying on the ground near a pool inside the park. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
No arrests have been made, police say, and the homicide investigation is ongoing.
