CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening, everyone.

The little bit of snow that fell today was just that-- a little bit.  Most saw a few periods of flurries to a trace.  Some folk out east will probably end up with a 1/2" or so.

Now, the brutal cold sets up.  Arctic air will crash down from Canada overnight and winds will start whipping in the next few hours and the numbers are going to fall.  Waking up in the city, the temperature will be 9° but feel like -5°.

If you live in the Hudson Valley, temps: -8°, feels like: -20°.

Saturday is a much warmer with temps in the mid-30s with a chance of snow.  This does look like another storm centered on Boston and New England.

Sunday morning could be the coldest air since 2004.
