2/16 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

One word describes this Monday morning - BRUTAL! Waking up, temps will be near and even below zero! Gusty winds will make for wind chills of 15 to 35 degrees below zero! Bundle up! Temps warm up into the mid teens, perhaps 19 degrees in NYC for the high, but surely not feeling like it!

Temps "rebound" into the mid 20s for Tuesday with our next snow chance. Newer information is suggesting more accumulating snow, with the heaviest down on the Jersey Shore and perhaps the South Shore of LI...3-5" possibly close to NYC, 5"+ south and east, and perhaps 1-3" farther north & west.

Wednesday we're just barely into the 30s with a few leftover snow showers. Another blast of Arctic air arrives Thursday with highs lucky to reach 20 in the city.
