Police Searching For Man Who Stabbed Man To Death In Jackson Heights

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in Queens.

Police say 22-year-old William Avila stabbed a man in the torso in the Jackson Heights section of Queens.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead.

Avila is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-4 and weighing about 160 pounds.

Police said Avila was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket with an American flag decal on the back, white sneakers and dark pants.
