Park Officials Give OK To Skate On Central Park Pond

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Ice skating fans, make sure you head over to Central Park!

The Parks Department opened up the pond at the conservatory in Central Park to anyone wanting to get out on the ice.

You have to bring your own skates and the pond is not groomed, but that didn't stop people from having some fun Saturday.

And there is no cost to skate-- it's free!
