BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) – Emergency responders came to the aid of a man who fell out of his kayak on Barnegat Bay.

Bayville Fire Department officials tell the Asbury Park Press that the man was in the icy waters for at least 10 minutes before he was rescued. They say he was “cold and shaken up,” but declined medical attention at the scene.
