SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — A woman was injured during an explosion that rocked a southern New Jersey home Saturday, police said.
Police said the explosion happened just after 10 a.m. on the first floor of the two-story home on Sumner Avenue in Seaside Heights.
Though it is not yet known what caused the blast, there was apparently some maintenance work being done at the residence.
The 26-year-old woman, who was on the second floor at the time of the explosion, was being evaluated at a hospital for undisclosed minor injuries.
Authorities said the explosion caused significant damage to the home.
