3/17 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening all,
Happy St. Patrick's Day! We've had a pretty wild weather day today. We started off with clouds and rain across the area. Then we cleared out a bit, and the sun helped us spike temps into the 60s.
Now, the cold front is passing the area with some great wind gusts. Greenwich recorded a gust of 55+ mph.
Winds will subside a bit tonight, but will remain fairly strong throughout Wednesday. Winds relax Thursday under full sunshine and high pressure. Winds shift south and moderate colder temps.
We watch a little mixing for Friday with some snow possibly sticking in the elevated areas.
Saturday looks like a good bounce back with temps in the 50s. Check back in soon for the latest.
