6th Teen Suspect Arrested In Connection With Brooklyn McDonald's Brawl

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A sixth teenager has been arrested in connection with the caught-on-camera beating of a 15-year-old girl at a Brooklyn McDonald's, authorities said.

A 15-year-year-old girl was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with robbery and gang assault, police said. The girl's name was not released because she's a minor.

Two 17-year-old girls and girls aged 14, 15, and 16 also have been arrested in connection with the incident on March 9.

The video shows a group attacking a 15-year-old girl while dozens of spectators cheer. Some could even be seen climbing onto table tops to get a better look as six to seven girls pummeled and kicked the victim.

Workers at the McDonald's called 911, but police said it appeared no one in the crowd tried to help.

Aniah Ferguson, 16, was the first to be arrested in connection with the case. Prosecutors said she's a gang member with a violent past, accused of stabbing her brother and threatening her grandmother.

According to police, she went after the victim because the girl somehow wronged her friend.

Authorities said the victim suffered a black eye and other injuries.
