Prosecutors: NJ Youth Pastor Engaged In Sex Acts With 2 Teen Girls

WYCKOFF, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A youth pastor at a northern New Jersey church is accused of engaging in "inappropriate'' sexual activity with two teenage girls in a church youth group.

David Hayman is charged with two counts of sexual assault and five counts of child endangerment. His bail was set at $250,000 and it wasn't known Saturday if he has retained a lawyer.

Hayman, of Oradell, allegedly engaged in sexual activity with two 16-year-old girls and exchanged sexually explicit videos with them.

Prosecutors also said Hayman shared explicit text messages with three other teen girls.

Officials said the 37-year-old was dismissed by the Cornerstone Christian Church in Wyckoff last summer after its leaders learned of the alleged text messages.
