NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – How would you like to own a piece of NBA history? How about Michael Jordan history? Well, here’s your chance!

A pair of Jordan’s Nike sneakers from a game in his 1984 rookie year will be up for auction next month.

Before the game against the Los Angeles Lakers, a 15-year-old ball boy asked Jordan if he could have the sneakers—and he said yes.

Now 31 years later, those size 13s autographed by one of basketball’s greatest will be available to the highest bidder.

The auction will be held between April 8 and 25.
