Police: 2 Men Wanted In 4 Queens Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two men wanted in connection with a string of robberies in Far Rockaway, Queens.

The first incident occurred on Central Avenue around 4:15 a.m. on Jan. 27. The suspects walked up behind a 54-year-old woman and pushed her to the ground before running off with her purse, police said.

Around 10 p.m. on Jan. 31, the duo followed a 43-year-old man into his building on New Haven Avenue and assaulted him before taking the victim's wallet and cellphone, police said. The victim was treated at a hospital for nose injuries.

A 30-year-old woman was pushed to the ground and robbed of her purse on Nameoke Street around 2:40 a.m. on Feb. 3, cops said.

On Feb. 22, the suspects walked up behind a 63-year-old woman at the corner of Gateway Boulevard and Everdell Avenue, struck her in the face and then took off with her purse, police said.
