At O’Donoghue’s Pub on Wednesday, Guy, a patron from Philadelphia, told 1010 WINS’ Haerr that he feels safe in the surrounding Theater District. But he said he exercises caution.

“When I have a jacket on, I actually have a breast pocket in there that’s meant for, like, an iPod or a device, and I actually keep my wallet in there,” he said.

Police describe the suspect as a black man weighing approximately 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing tan work boots, a black ski cap, a black waist-length jacket, blue jeans and a blue shirt.

Police have released photos of the suspect.
