Police Release Photos Of Suspect Who Allegedly Groped Boy, 11, In Williamsburg

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday were searching for a man who allegedly touched an 11-year-old boy's crotch as he waited for a bus as the south end of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Around 9:23 a.m. Sunday, the boy was waiting for the bus in front of the building at 551 Flushing Ave. when the man came up from behind and grabbed his crotch, police said.

The boy ran off, and the suspect also escaped toward the Marcy Houses public housing development, police said.

The suspect was described as a white male about 20 years old, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue shorts, a black jacket, and black sneakers.

Police have released surveillance video and photos.
