New York (CBSNewYork) CBSNewYork.com and 1010 WINS have teamed up with Animal Care & Control of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable animals looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where AC&C's mobile adoption unit is headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Matka Kitty, Hazel and Jack Frost.

Matka Kitty (ID# A1027807 - photo above) Matka is AC&C's resident supermodel! She has perfected that gorgeous pouty look and is every cat owner's dream. Matka is a super laidback lady, and though she does enjoy being patted, she is comfortable hanging out and lounging on her own. Matka has lived with other cats and dogs, and would make a great companion for any growing family. Meet Matka Kitty at AC&C's Staten Island Care Center, at 3137 Veterans Road West.
