NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — ESPN reporter Britt McHenry has been suspended for a week, days after she was caught on a viral video berating a parking lot attendant.
McHenry got her car towed last week while having dinner in Arlington, Virginia, according to ARLNow.com.READ MORE: Wild Roll To Win Against Devils
On Thursday, a video posted to LiveLeak.com showed McHenry dressing down the employee.

She later remarks, “Yep, that’s all you are about is just taking people’s money, with no education, no skill set – just want to clarify that,” and adds, “Maybe if I was missing some teeth (the garage) would hire me, huh?”
“I’m on television and you’re in a f***ing trailer, honey,” McHenry continues. “Lose some weight, baby girl.”
ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said Thursday afternoon that McHenry will be suspended for one week, effective immediately.

“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things,” she tweeted. “As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”
