You take a Rangers playoff win, combine it with Boomer’s 54th birthday, make it a Friday and you have what’s needed for an action-packed edition of the Morning Extravaganza — which is exactly what we had.

Boomer the birthday boy, along with his little buddy Craig, got things started by talking about the Blueshirts’ 2-1 win over the Penguins, as the Blonde Bomber is confident in this team’s ability to overcome adversity.

Adding to Boomer’s blissful state, the Mets won again — their 5th in a row, a 7-5 victory over the Marlins. Speaking of which, after declaring it to be ‘Boomer Time,’ Boomer himself made it clear to Craig that he was not interested in hearing any of his negativity with regards to the Mets, or the Rangers for that matter, advising him to ‘shut-up and stay positive.’

We also got to hear all about Boomer’s adventure in the city Thursday afternoon, which included some time navigating the underground railroad system known as the subway.

You know the drill — it’s a Friday, now start acting like it.
