Since leaving Long Island's East End on March 30 for a trip to the city, the Costellos have been off the grid.

Emily did not return to school on the following Tuesday and calls to both cellphones have gone unanswered, Stern reported. Costello has also not been in touch with her farm in Greenport.

According to published reports, Costello's car was found inside a garage on 42nd Street. The mother and daughter were spotted on surveillance video smiling and carrying suitcases, Stern reported.

Southold police told the Suffolk Times there is no sign of foul play.
