Police Find Small Alligator Inside Long Branch, NJ Home

LONG BRANCH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in New Jersey made an unexpected discovery while executing a search warrant.

Authorities found a small alligator inside a home in Long Branch on Thursday.

It's not clear who owns the reptile, CBS2 reported.

It's now in the hands of state wildlife officers.
